Bio: Ethan Kannel

Ethan Kannel is an intern overseeing CAHME’s annual awards process and supporting accreditation development.

Ethan received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, and is currently an MBA Candidate at the Fox School of Business at Temple University. After graduating from Cornell, Ethan became a Venture for America Fellow and moved to Philadelphia to work at a custom merchandise start-up called NEU. After his 3rd shoulder surgery he transitioned his career into healthcare in order to improve the patient experience.

He worked as a patient advocate at Accolade for a year and a half before returning to Temple to transition from insurance to the provider side. This summer Ethan is working as an operations intern at Penn Medicine for the faculty practice.

At Temple Ethan has been recognized as the 2019 Charles P. Hall Scholar, and the Dean’s Tuition Scholar.
