Bio: Jennifer Furjanic, MBA

Jennifer Furjanic is the Vice President of Accreditation Operations for the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education, known as CAHME. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing all aspects of CAHME’s accreditation activities. She joined CAHME July 1, 2019.

Prior to joining CAHME, Jennifer worked for Dunwoody Village, one of Philadelphia Main Line’s premier continuing care retirement communities, as head of Community Relations. She’s held leadership and management positions at The Board of Pensions of the PCUSA and The Vanguard Group.

She serves on the Board and two committees for The Family Support of Delaware County and has volunteered for numerous organizations including Thorncroft Equestrian Center, Providence Animal Center, Philabundance and the United Way. Jennifer received her BA in Business Communication from Thiel College and her MBA in Healthcare Management from the CAHME-accredited program at Widener University. She has completed continuing and professional education from Harvard University’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking in the mountains of Pennsylvania with her husband Jonathan and her dog Kirbie; horseback riding; boating; and reading.
