CAHME is pleased to announce that we are once again offering scholarship opportunities to honor two individuals who embodied integrity, innovation, and service in the healthcare profession. The scholarships are available to students in CAHME-accredited programs.
The CAHME/Dawn Gideon Scholarship is designed to support future women leaders in healthcare, especially those who demonstrate a commitment to serving communities in need. The Scholarship honors the memory of Dawn Gideon, herself a graduate of a CAHME-accredited program at the University of Pittsburgh. Winners will receive $2,000. The nomination form, along with information about the current scholarship winner is available on our web site.
The CAHME/Tim Campbell Scholarship honors the memory of Tim Campbell, a CAHME-board member who embodied a commitment to service and volunteerism. The $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student at a CAHME-accredited program who reflects Tim’s values of service and helping others reach their full potential. The nomination form, along with information about this year’s winner is available on our web site.
We are grateful to both the Dawn Gideon Foundation and the friends and family of Tim Campbell whose generosity makes these scholarships possible.
Applications for both scholarships are due to CAHME by November 21, 2018, and will be reviewed by CAHME staff, along with associates of the Dawn Gideon Foundation and friends and family of Tim Campbell. We will announce the scholarship winners in January 2019.
